US election, more short takes.
Young white men went from being Bernie Bros in 2016, to Trump soldiers in 2020 and 2024, and then turned against Trump in 2026 because he did little to end their persecution in the job market:
Immigration won Trump the 2024 election, but wasn’t a big factor in 2026 because he’d largely fixed the problem. Come 2028 however, when the presidency is in play again, immigration might resume its place as the biggest issue.
20 million more votes than in 2022:
In 2020 Biden got 20 million more votes than Obama ever did. Guess those extra voters sat out 2022 and 2024, but they came back in 2026???
