Cambridge University are the laughing stock of the world

Cambridge University are the laughing stock of the world.

Epic lying by omission. By Basil the Great.

Cambridge’s student newspaper, Varsity, has come under intense criticism after it has not published a single story regarding Jason Arday

Despite it being the biggest story to come out of Cambridge Uni in years.

Commenters:

Even left wing puppets like Student Unions can’t defend the patently ludicrous – hope the other students drag them mercilessly …

They are probably all hoping for a job at the BBC or Guardian. …

It breaks the ideological blanket they’ve all hidden under for years … criticising DEI is the ultimate taboo. Sad that students who should be the most clear eyed and data driven truth seekers are so brainwashed today. …

Ignoring a story is also journalism acting as propaganda. …

They’re just brushing up their lying by omission skills for when they get recruited to the BBC,

Donna-Louise:

First the Jason Arday disaster, now this. They’ve appointed Farah Ahmed as Assistant Professor of Education — a woman who called Western education a “threat” to Muslims, democracy a “corrupt tradition,” and literacy plus qualifications un-Islamic.

She attacked English literature as damaging, condemned treating Islam as just one religion among others, and criticised schools for teaching that child marriage is wrong. [She is also a former supporter of Hizb ut-Tahrir, now banned as a terror group.]

Same faculty. Same total collapse of standards. Shocking doesn’t begin to cover it.

Putting our money where their mouth is — Charlotte Gill:

Jason Arday is listed as a co-investigator on two more studies funded by taxpayers totalling £4,412,501 — in addition to Arday being a co-investigator on an EDI caucus that received £3,676,371 from taxpayers.

Commenters:

This is lorry loads of tax-payers money for the equivalent of allowing academics with the proper revolutionary left credentials endless ways of having a good time and burnishing their Woke status. …

If he’s sketchy around the truth, guaranteed he’s even sketchier around money.

Wesley Yang:

Billions of dollars are expended each year to pay the salaries of people whose literal job is engaging in institutionalized Red Guard assaults on their fellow citizens
