Diversity is when white men are excluded.
Here is the female Governor of the US state of Virginia, a Democrat, boasting that her cabinet is the most diverse ever:

You have an 86% black cabinet in a state that’s only 19% black. You have a 0% white male cabinet in a state than 32% white male. This may be the one of the least gender/race representative cabinets in Virginia’s modern history. …
“Diversity” is just a code word for antiwhite. For example, the Left would consider a 100% black organization to be “diverse.”
Not so diverse. Missing a Latino and an Asian, at least.

Color of skin is meaningless except to racists. We had it sane in the 70s. Some of the 80s. Then the democrats had to bring back race because they had no platform or good ideas for America. Its not just old. It is very much in the way.
