‘Pauline Hanson does not support White Australia,’ says Barnaby Joyce. By Thomas Henry in The Australian.
One Nation MP Barnaby Joyce has said Australia risks creating its own “Tommy Robinson” if there is no crackdown on immigration policy …
“Pauline Hanson does not support the White Australia policy. She supports the assimilation and the Australian culture in such a form as we have the egalitarian peacefulness that we all want,” Mr Joyce told Sky News. …
“There’s friction and division in England that we don’t want in Australia. There quite obviously is, from the optics of what we saw, sections of England that no longer look like England and start to look a lot like Bangladesh or Pakistan,” he said. …
Mr Joyce also claimed that Seven’s Spotlight program had pushed Senator Hanson to sit down with Robinson for an interview because it would “make good television”.
It is moderately clear that Pauline Hanson is demanding cultural whiteness, not ethnic whiteness. She has said umpteen times in public that skin color is not the issue. She and Tommy Robinson are criticizing the lack of assimilation that is required to produce culturally white citizens. The monoculture she yearns for is cultural whiteness.

The left, of course, only want to talk about skin color and cuisine — interpreting her inarticulate comments as racism. The left studiously avoids the distinction between cultural and ethnic whiteness, which is dishonest of them.
