A Canberra cafe temporarily closed after its owner allegedly refused to remove “anti-fascist” posters depicting Donald Trump and Elon Musk in Nazi uniforms …

[It has since] restored the controversial images with “censored” now scrawled across them.

ACT Police were called to the Dissent Cafe and Bar in the Canberra CBD on Wednesday after a complaint of “possible hate imagery” displayed at the licensed premises.

Of course people should be free to depict politicians like this. Free speech. And we are free to think such speakers are idiots, and not go their cafe. Imagine — Trump is the only “fascist” who shrinks his government, battles for free speech, permits his critics to call him awful names with impunity, sometimes sides with the Jews, and obeys his judiciary. As I said, idiots.

Australia’s ruling class are enthusiastic, but behind the times. The Democrats in the US are now saying they never called Trump “Hitler.” Get with the times, progressives!
