Viral letter calls for Anthony Albanese to step down. By Maisy Rae in The Daily Mail.
The open letter was posted to Facebook by Israeli public speaker Hillel Fuld, on behalf of his family friend Peter Singer, on Tuesday.
Addressing Albanese, Mr Singer wrote: ‘This is a tragedy for all Australians and represents the lowest our once great country has sunk (and only in four years of this government). …
‘To date, your leadership has turned Australia into a land of weekly, hateful demonstrations; drawn world leaders’ criticism about Australia’s rising antisemitism; (and) made Australia a joke among international actors with a recognition of Palestine,’ Mr Singer said.
He added that Albanese had broken ‘a close, most multi-faceted beneficial 80 year relationship with Israel’ and claimed he ‘ignored shutting down Islamist hatred in mosques, granting them millions, begrudgingly attended other acts of unprecedented vandalism, as a low priority, and sat idly while universities — our sources of enlightenment — are pits of hatred.’ …
In the letter, Mr Singer also called for Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke and Foreign Minister Penny Wong to be sacked ‘immediately’.
‘That would be a valid assessment Prime Minister. I trust that you will step out from the political mindset, be a human and resign,’ he said.
Maybe Australia is starting to face up to the awful truth: [censored]. Our immigration policy has been a awful mistake.
