London attack: Donald Trump attacks mayor Sadiq Khan again

London attack: Donald Trump attacks mayor Sadiq Khan again, by AP.

Asked if Mr Trump was wrong to make the comments, British Prime Minister Theresa May said at a news conference Monday that “Sadiq Khan is doing a good job and it’s wrong to say anything else — he’s doing a good job.” …

The war of words was the latest episode in a long simmering conflict between Mr Trump and Mr Khan, a Muslim who was elected as London’s mayor in May 2016. After his election last year, Mr Khan tweeted criticism of then-candidate Mr Trump’s rhetoric, saying his “ignorant view of Islam could make both our countries less safe. It risks alienating mainstream Muslims.” Mr Trump later challenged Mr Khan to an IQ test during an interview on ITV.

Tackling the jihad problem in Britain will be extraordinary difficult. There are already over three million Muslims in Britain — around 6 or 7% depending on sources, already well into the violent activity and aggressiveness stage. The Muslim Lord Mayor of London claims “we are one of the safest global cities in the world”.

Mr Trump … also lashed out at his own Justice Department for seeking a “watered down” version of the travel ban he signed in March instead of a broader directive that was also blocked by the courts.
