Albo just fronted the cameras emotional and steaming, slamming Pauline Hanson as “nasty and spiteful” for comments about his late mother.

He said he’s “stunned”, that Maryanne was “way out of Pauline Hanson’s league”, and that he’s “proud to be a houso”.

What Pauline actually said, months ago on Stefanovic, then again this week, is the bit they don’t want discussed:

“Public housing is a hand up, not a 65 year occupancy. You get help, then it should move on to the next family coming through”

Albanese has used the Camperdown commission house story as a political prop for his entire career. Victory speeches. Interviews. Every time he needs the humbleorigin card.

The moment someone points out that scarce public housing shouldn’t be a lifetime tenancy while other Australians are in cars and tents, suddenly it’s an unforgivable attack on a dead woman.
