Are you a non-practicing white?
The term came to prominence outside lefty echo chambers recently when a Lindsay Clancy fan found out the mind-bending news that the lone holdout juror in the Clancy case who forced a mistrial was… *gasp“… black.
(The holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy’s trial was the sole person of colour amongst them. This means eleven white liberals, almost all women, were intimidating a lone black man — to free a white child killer.)

“I’m a non-practicing white… it changes the landscape of the conversation a little bit. A lot of us were assuming it was a white man.”
I can’t get past the “non-practicing white” line. Here we have a person assuming that being white is like a social affliction, rather than the shorthand description for a person with sparse melanin content.
But yes, it’s a real term:

These people are crazy. Men can be women, and white people can be non-white? They keep changing the meaning of words to feel good about themselves, which renders communicating with them almost impossible and wastes our time.
