Thousands of migrants on Thursday poured into the tiny Spanish territory of Ceuta from neighboring Morocco, overwhelming local authorities and posing a political headache for Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
Footage broadcast on Spanish television showed large crowds of mostly young men swimming around breakwaters and climbing over fences to cross into Ceuta. Most carried little more than the shorts and flip-flops they were wearing. …

The coastal city of Ceuta is in North Africa, but it has been part of Spanish territory for centuries…. But reaching Ceuta or Melilla doesn’t guarantee access to the rest of Spain or free movement across Europe, because the enclaves are subject to special border controls that restrict onward travel to the Spanish mainland.
Italy’s most senior politicians have called for Spain to be kicked out of Europe’s Schengen zone.
If the Spanish and European Governments didn’t want this invasion, they could easily have prevented it. They wanted it, says Eva V:

Muslims invaded Spain in 711 and conquered almost all of that country. They held Spain for centuries, until the Christian Reconquest finally drove out the last of the Muslims in 1492. …
Spain’s government had already given 500,000 illegal aliens, mostly Muslims, legal status in that country [No, the intial estimate was for 0.5 million, but 1.2 million applied and were accepted].
That was the context for yesterday’s attack by Moroccans on the Spanish territory of Ceuta … Suddenly, thousands of Moroccans swam or boated around Spain’s fence into Cueta. Why did this happen all at once? They seem to have gotten word that the Spanish authorities wouldn’t stop them.
Spain’s Guardia Civil estimates the number of young men who invaded Ceuta and Melilla today to be around 40,000.
Depending on how you count, in the US Army, that would be between 2.6 and 4 divisions.

I’m sat in a pub watching Sky News and there’s no mention of the invasion in Spain today, just repeated adverts for a documentary about a girl who lied about grooming gangs. Is this the state of the MSM? No wonder they want to stamp out citizen journalism on social media.
Meanwhile, Portugal is banning burqas and niqabs in public places, with fines up to 4,000 euros. Muslim men who force their wives or female relatives to wear one will also face 3 years in prison. Burqas were described as a ‘symbol of women’s oppression and a threat to public safety.’
