“Strange” political bias of Australia’s U16 social media ban.
In a first for the Western world, from tomorrow Australia will ban some people from parts of the Internet. Anyone aged 15 and under from will be banned from using these social media platforms:

- X (aka Twitter)
- YouTube
- TikTok
- Snapchat
- Twitch
- Threads
- Kick.

Most importantly, X is banned but BlueSky is not. Bluesky is the left-wing counterpart of X, set up after Musk took over Twitter, for lefties to retreat to while they boycotted X.
The Australian Government, perceiving “protecting the children” as electorally advantageous, is commandeering resources to advertise its actions:

Control of political information is what is primarily motivating the blob. If they cared about our children, they wouldn’t encourage them to try puberty blockers, have sex-changing operations that render them infertile, price houses forever out of their reach, invite Muslims to hate on them in their own country, import third worlders to prey on them (machete optional), etc.
