Mamdani’s Victory Speech

Mamdani’s Victory Speech. By Matt Margolis at PJ Media.

The standard victory is where the politicians says they will govern for all, not just those who voted for them. Not this speech.

Zohran Mamdani’s victory speech Tuesday night wasn’t a celebration of civic service or unity. Instead, it was a sermon on socialist supremacy, a fiery manifesto that echoed Joe Biden’s infamous blood-red Independence Hall speech in 2022. Mamdani had openly campaigned as a socialist, and in his remarks, he reveled in it. He proclaimed it. He weaponized it.

“I am young. I am Muslim. I am a democratic socialist,” he declared. “And most damning of all, I refuse to apologize for any of this.”

That line alone should send shivers down the spine of every New Yorker who still believes in free enterprise, personal responsibility, and the idea that government exists to serve, not rule.

Mamdani stood before the cheering crowd in Brooklyn and delivered what can only be described as a declaration of ideological conquest. “Tonight, against all odds, we have grasped it. The future is in our hands. My friends, we have toppled a political dynasty,” he boasted. In his telling, what had happened was much more than just an election; it was an uprising. And if his tone was any indication, he intends to govern like a revolutionary rather than a mayor. …

Run for the hills:

“We will prove that there is no problem too large for government to solve,” Mamdani promised.

Did that line make you shudder? It should. If you live in New York City, get out. Get out now. …

But it wasn’t just the economics that made Mamdani’s speech so chilling; it was the unmistakable tone of moral absolutism. His rhetoric wasn’t that of a mayor; it was the rhetoric of a zealot.

It echoed Biden’s Independence Hall address, where he condemned “MAGA Republicans” as a threat to democracy while standing before a blood-red backdrop flanked by Marines. Mamdani’s speech was cut from the same authoritarian cloth.

“MAGA Republicans” are our enemy

Vox Populi:

The handwringing by conservatives and by liberal Jews alike about the loss of New York City is as pointless as it is ironic.

New York City and every other urban center in the United States long ago ceased to be American. Now they’re just distribution centers for foreign tax farmers redistributing everything that can be skimmed off, stolen, or scammed from the productive to the interest groups presently in demographic power.

None of this is a secret or a surprise to anyone with even a modest grasp of history. Mass immigration marks the end of every society and every empire, even on those occasions when it doesn’t directly cause it.

You asked for it:

I certainly welcome the new regimes in New York City and Minneapolis, and will watch with interest, if not amusement, to see how they take advantage of the wretched retards who actively encouraged these foreigners to come and rule over them.

I only hope the beleaguered residents of New York City and Minneapolis and other cities blessed with vibrant rule will remember that all the bad things they are complaining about, all the terrible things that they will be complaining about in the future, are things that they were warned about, but dismissed as impossible because they decided those who warned them were bad people.

If we don’t fight to protect the values of Western Civilisation, we are condemning our grandchildren to being forced to pay the jizyah.
