Former President Donald Trump said during an interview this week that his family will not play any role in his administration if he becomes the Republican Party nominee and wins the 2024 general election.

Trump, 77, told Fox News anchor Bret Baier in an interview that aired Monday evening that being president was “too painful for the family” and that they will not be involved in his administration if he gets back to the White House.

Trump made the remarks when Baier asked him if he wanted his oldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner, with him again politically in the future. …
