There is such a lot of ignorance out there about what is actually going on here.

Last weekend’s announcement that the PM is intending to change the rules regarding running referenda was astounding. If you didn’t hear it, he plans to remove the now-legal requirement for the government to inform voters about both sides of the proposed argument (in the form of two essays posted to all voters by the electoral office). Apparently discussions about a No vote will be too distressing to aborigines! Enough is definitely enough! The decision by the Nats. to oppose the voice is a big plus, though.

The orders continue to come which is excellent.
