Democrat Senator Admits ‘Trump Was Right’ About TikTok. By Matt Margolis.
In 2020, President Trump wanted to ban TikTok over national security concerns with the Chinese-owned app. …
Trump’s efforts were ultimately unsuccessful. After taking office, Joe Biden took a different approach and actively embraced the controversial app by recruiting TikTok influencers to help advance his agenda.
While on a trip to Australia, Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) admitted that former President Donald Trump was right to warn about the ties between the Chinese Communist Party and the social media platform TikTok.
“This is not something you would normally hear me say, but Donald Trump was right on TikTok years ago,” Warner said, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
“If your country uses Huawei, if your kids are on TikTok, if your population uses WeChat as a social media platform, the ability for China to have undue influence is, I think, a much greater challenge and a much more immediate threat than any kind of actual, armed conflict,” Warner continued.

“The way China is handling it is so different than America,” said [Joe] Rogan. “China’s version of TikTok celebrates academic achievements and athletic achievements. It’s all science projects. All these different fascinating things.”
What makes it even more impressive, in his view, is the fact that it has a ‘youth mode.’ It’s a feature that limits people under 14 from using the app for more than 40 minutes per day, and the shut-off time is 10pm.
He believes this is a good thing. “They’re trying to encourage achievement, right? They’re doing all these things with like this idea of engineering a society of more accomplished, more successful people.”
TikTok programming aims at turning western followers into anti-social, disabled idiots, but Chinese followers into enabled and patriotic useful citizens. How dumb can we be?
