Facebook and Twitter Suppressing New York Post Bombshell Story Of Damaging Hunter Biden Emails

Facebook and Twitter Suppressing New York Post Bombshell Story Of Damaging Hunter Biden Emails. By Allum Bokhari.

Facebook has reduced the distribution of a New York Post story containing bombshell information indicating that — contrary to his previous denials — Joe Biden allegedly did meet with an adviser to the board of Burisma while he was vice president, arranged by his son Hunter, who was then working as a lobbyist for the company. Twitter followed suit soon after, labeling links to the story “unsafe.”

The story made the front page of the Post …

His father has previously said, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.” But according to emails obtained by the Post, Hunter introduced his father to a Burisma executive less than a year before the then-vice president pressured the Ukrainian government into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company.

Facebook spokesman and former Democrat staffer Andy Stone announced the decision on Twitter, and also practically invited Facebook’s supposedly neutral fact-checkers to challenge the story.

Significantly, the social network took the rare step of acting in advance of a decision by its “third-party fact-checkers,” on which it usually relies on to defer responsibility for censoring news publishers.

That move is practically unprecedented, arguably protecting the former vice president from a major political scandal at a critical time in the 2020 election.

Twitter followed Facebook’s lead, censoring existing links to the New York Post article as “unsafe,” and preventing people — including the newspaper’s own employees — from posting new ones.

Donald Trump:

Facebook is actively interfering in the election.

Facebook is rigging the election for Joe Biden. …

This is straight-up election interference by @Facebook, being announced by their comms person who touts in his bio numerous past jobs with Dems.

The NY Post:

Censor first, ask questions later: It’s an outrageous attitude for two of the most powerful platforms in the United States to take.

No one is disputing the veracity of The Post’s story — not even Hunter Biden. His lawyer George R. Mesires wouldn’t deign to comment on the reporting, simply attacking the messenger. The Biden campaign did the same, dismissing it all as “discredited,” while saying carefully that no such meeting showed up on Joe Biden’s official schedule on those dates. (Well, if it wasn’t “official,” guess it didn’t happen.)

As for Twitter’s fear of hacking violations: Our story explains where the info came from, and a Senate committee now confirms it also received the files from the same source.

Yet Facebook and Twitter are deliberately trying to keep its users from reading and deciding for themselves what it means.

This when neither did a thing to restrict access to the recent New York Times story on President Trump’s tax returns. And the Times didn’t say a word about how it obtained that confidential personal data — is there no possible hacking there, Twitter? …

Facebook and Twitter are not media platforms. They’re propaganda machines.

John Hinderaker:

The fact that Joe Biden has made a career out of influence peddling is something that Twitter and Facebook think you are better off not knowing. (As I have said before, no one has ever bribed Hunter Biden, a worthless neer-do-well.) Twitter’s explanation is laugh-out-loud funny:

The company said it took the step because of the lack of authoritative reporting on where the materials included in The Post’s story originated.

Which explains why no one was ever allowed to tweet about the Russia collusion hoax.

Dominic Green:

Twitter, meanwhile, stopped its users from forwarding or privately sharing the Post’s article for a couple of hours. Now when you click on the story, Twitter gives you a disclaimer, as if you are ‘proceeding to an unsafe site’.

It was, however, still possible to read and circulate the Steele dossier on Twitter, and to read and circulate the racist drivel of the Iranian regime’ leaders.

Anyone with a brain can see what is going on in plain sight. The only reason Burisma would want to employ Hunter Biden is to buy influence with his father. So there are reasonable questions to be asked of Joe Biden, a presidential candidate. He is doing his utmost to avoid them. He is succeeding in this shameful evasion because the pro-Democratic media, which is most of the American media, are actively helping him. They refuse to ask him serious questions and promulgate his talking points as their editorial lines.

The left/media/big-tech are not even pretending to be be fair any more. There’s an important election on! The ends justify the means!
