Trump’s big plan is a payroll tax cut. It shows that Trump just doesn’t get it, he still thinks the problem is a demand problem and not a medical problem. If Trump wanted to help, he should announce more testing and enforced social distancing. Furthermore, a payroll tax cut does nothing to help people who lose their jobs because of the virus. It’s not even the correct economic relief.
