Coronavirus update. In Italy there are now 132 confirmed cases, 26 in intensive care, and three deaths — which proves it can kill outside of Asia. The exponential growth of cases outside of China and the cruise ship continues:

This is consistent with a nasty pandemic going global. It might not be, but it could be. How many negative-pressure intensive care beds does your city have? Mine (Perth, Australia) has four, and one’s already occupied by a coronavirus victim off the Diamond Princess cruise ship.
So far only Singapore and Israel seem serious about tracking and isolating all cases. Both appear to have have headed off outbreaks.
