White House Calls Pelosi’s Bluff: We Aren’t Complying With Your Fake Impeachment Demands

White House Calls Pelosi’s Bluff: We Aren’t Complying With Your Fake Impeachment Demands. By Katie Pavlich.

Last week, to much fanfare, Pelosi announced the House was conducting an “impeachment inquiry” into President Trump. She said a number of committees have been tasked with gathering “facts” and “evidence” in order to build a case. She did not announce a vote on articles of impeachment, which would be taken by the full House on the floor.

Now, the White House is refusing to comply with witness or document requests until a full House vote is taken and impeachment is officially underway, blunting the impeachment-light tactic being used by Democrats as a tool to satisfy the left wing of their party.

Other impeachment commentary from John Hinderaker:

Impeachment is a political act, not a legal one, and the Democrats’ motives are entirely political. They think that impeaching President Trump will cast a pall of discredit over him and weaken his chances for re-election in 2020. I think that calculation is probably right.

And:

There is strong evidence that the Biden family accepted bribes from both Chinese and Ukrainian interests. Those who bribed the Bidens obviously thought they were buying influence with the Obama administration, or at least hoped they were doing do. This is old-fashioned, unvarnished corruption. It is certainly unethical, and likely illegal. It deserves to be investigated. Because the bribes involved Ukraine and China, and those who offered or paid the bribes are located there, it makes sense for those governments to participate in the investigation.

The whole impeachment sham is just a smear to lessen Trump’s re-election chances.
