Sen. Elizabeth Warren launches 2020 presidential exploratory committee

Sen. Elizabeth Warren launches 2020 presidential exploratory committee, by Brian Schwartz.

“Our government is supposed to work for all of us, but instead, it has become a tool for the wealthy and well-connected,” Warren said in the video.

She said corruption is “poisoning our democracy,” warned that “America’s middle class is under attack” and cited the obstacles facing minority groups.

“Families of color face a path that is steeper and rockier, a path made even harder by the impact of generations of discrimination,” she said.

Identity group politics and diversity to the fore. Anti white, and especially anti-white male. Tribalism to receive a boost. Well naturally — after all, she has a track record of using affirmative action (aka state-sanctioned discrimination) to further her career.

Would she open the US borders to the third world?

Scott Johnson:

Warren disapproves of pharmaceutical companies making “ginormous profits.” (What about technology companies like Amazon and Apple? I hear they are somewhat profitable too.) Warren also disapproves of for-profit colleges. The common factor is profits; we can extrapolate Warren’s bogeymen to free enterprise generally. She favors consumption over production, so long as she has a hand in distribution.
