Trump accuses media of stoking ‘great anger’ in US

Trump accuses media of stoking ‘great anger’ in US, by Mark Moore.

Despite calls for him to cool his overheated rhetoric after the deadly synagogue shooting and pipe bomb mailings, President Trump on Monday continued his assault on the news media by once again branding them as the “Enemy of the People” and accusing them of stoking rage.

“There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news. The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly,” he wrote to his more than 55 million Twitter followers.

The battle between political correctness and reality rages on.

Naturally the PC forces blame Trump for all the recent violence, ignoring the left’s numerous recent calls for uncivil and violent behavior. Very sad.

UPDATE: Trump: Media is the true enemy of the people, by Catherine Lucy. Or here is the original article in the WaPo:

Trump escalates anti-media rhetoric after wave of violence, by Catherine Lucy.

Trump argued that “fraudulent” reporting was contributing to anger in the country and declared that the press was the “true Enemy of the People.”

There are headlines and articles like this all over the mainstream media. There they go again — misleading people, lying by omission. Trump called the “fake news media” the enemy of the people, but the mainstream media then lies by omitting the “fake” and saying he said that the “media” or “the press” was the enemy of the people.

Look, here’s his tweet:

The lying media is making people angry again by their inaccurate and fraudulent reporting, just like Trump said.
