Senator Susan Collins to vote yes on Kavanaugh, effectively ensuring his confirmation, by Alex Acquisto.

Sen. Susan Collins of Maine said Friday she will join fellow Republicans in voting to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court in a move likely to clinch President Donald Trump’s second nomination to the high court. …

The Maine senator’s Friday afternoon announcement came just hours after she sided with 49 fellow Republican senators in a key procedural vote to advance Kavanaugh’s confirmation, which will likely take place on Saturday. …

Collins said she found Ford’s testimony before a Senate panel last week — when the professor said she was “100 percent certain” that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her — to be “sincere, painful and compelling.” But Collins said that Ford’s allegations weren’t corroborated and Kavanaugh was entitled to a presumption of innocence.

The Roe versus Wade abortion ruling and five decades of legislation from the Supreme Court bench are now under threat. Progressive measures will now have to be put to the vote by the people or their representatives. No longer will they be corruptly imposed by a clique of unelected lefty judges who take it upon themselves to reinterpret the words of the constitution. Think of this perhaps as the reassertion of democracy in the world’s most influential nation.

The FBI and deep state shenanigans aimed at spying on and undermining the Trump presidency (the “coup”) are gradually coming to light and unravelling. With the Supreme Court soon to tilt non-PC, prosecutions will be able to go ahead.
