Migrants in Denmark who don’t shake hands won’t receive citizenship

Migrants in Denmark who don’t shake hands won’t receive citizenship, by Voice of Europe.

A new Danish bill makes it compulsory that migrants shake hands to be given official Danish citizenship, news outlet Fria Tider reports.

In the bill the migrant must sign an agreement to comply with Danish law and shake hands with the mayor of the municipality. Otherwise, that person’s citizenship will be denied.

These symbols are important. The Danes are finally asserting their rights to exist, saying that when Muslims come to Denmark they must fit into their society — instead of changing their society to please the Muslims.
