Toronto shooting: Gunman kills woman and child in Greektown, by the BBC.

A 10-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman have died after a gunman opened fire on a busy avenue in Canada’s largest city, police say.

Thirteen other people, ranging in age between 10 and 59, were injured in the attack in the Greektown district of Toronto, police chief Mark Saunders told reporters.

The suspect, 29, had an exchange of gunfire with police officers before being found dead nearby.

The motive for the shooting is unknown

Great care is taken not to reveal the attacker’s identity. No doubt the religion of peace is involved.

Mr Trudeau’s ruling Liberal party wants tougher background checks, including screening people with a history of violence.

Mr Trudeau, would you like some hints on who might have history of violence? I’ll bet you wouldn’t listen.

No doubt the next official line will be that he is a lone wolf with mental health problems, and nothing to do with any particular religion. That Islam encourages believers to gain virtue by killing non-Muslims will not be mentioned. Nor will the Islamic practice of using mentally or physical ill Muslims to be suicide bombers. Oh no.
