President Trump unloads on Comey, ‘scum on top’ of FBI a day after damning IG report’s release

President Trump unloads on Comey, ‘scum on top’ of FBI a day after damning IG report’s release, by Brooke Singman.

President Trump broke his silence on the scathing inspector general’s report with a vengeance Friday, first tweeting that the FBI boss he fired was the “worst” in the bureau’s history, then crashing “Fox & Friends” for an impromptu interview where he ripped the “scum on top” of the Obama-era bureau and said the IG “blew it.”

The president’s comments came a day after the release of the report, which was the result of an 18-month-long investigation by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz. Trump said the report, which found ex-FBI Director James Comey was insubordinate, showed Trump was justified in firing him.

In the interview with Fox’s Steve Doocy, Trump made it clear he considered Comey the leader of those “minions.”

“I think Comey was the ringleader of this whole den of thieves,” Trump said.

“If you took a poll at the FBI, [I would win],” Trump told Doocy. “I mean the real FBI, not the scum on top.”

Trump said Horowitz’s finding of no evidence the FBI probe of Hillary Clinton’s secret email server was influenced by rampant liberal bias showed the inspector general “blew it.”

Page: “[Trump’s] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Strzok: “No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it.”

Scott:

The IG said there was “bias” more than a dozen times and then, after all that, he concluded there was no “political bias” in the HRC investigation. Well then what kind of bias was it? Gender bias? Racial bias? Religious bias? Bias against the color purple?

In other words, just like Comey said about Hillary: “I’ll lay out a case of how and why she broke federal law, but I’ll tell you no “reasonable prosecutor” would take the case — move along — nothing to see here, Yada,Yada,Yada.”

To add insult to injury, the IG concludes with four major points which need to be changed in dept. policy at the DOJ and FBI, but fails to mention that all his recommendations are already policy in both agencies and have been for years.

After this, Christopher Wray (Director of the FBI), comes out and agrees there is no political bias. He is the penultimate swamp thing. Amazingly, he was appointed by Trump. Trump was snookered by another Deep State operative’s recommendation to appoint him, as he was with McMaster and a few others.

I’m sorry to say but this is in itself an entirely new scandal, which I’m calling “Whitewash Gate”.

PS If there is no political bias Mr. Wray, why are you making the entire FBI go through “bias training”?

The Australian ABC News last night covered the report briefly, quoting Wray saying “there was no political bias.” They probably won’t mention it again. ABC viewers will have no idea of what really happened. Imagine if the parties were reversed — they’d go into every detail night after night!
