Trump blames Obama — again — for not doing enough about Russian meddling, by Gregory Korte.
“Obama was President up to, and beyond, the 2016 Election. So why didn’t he do something about Russian meddling?” Trump said on Twitter.
The attack on Obama was the latest in a series of presidential tweets reacting to a grand jury indictment handed up Friday against 16 Russian nationals entities accused of using social media to meddle in the presidential election.

Obama did take action against Russia, instituting sanctions and expelling 35 diplomats. But that happened in December 2016 — weeks after the election. It wasn’t until the month before the election that the Obama administration publicly acknowledged the Russian efforts.
