Defense Secretary Jim Mattis branded North Korea ‘reckless’ after they launched a missile over the Japan and – sending millions of people into Japan into a panic on Friday morning. …
Asked about a possible American military response, Mattis said, “I don’t want to talk on that yet.” after he said that the missile launch had ‘put millions of Japanese in duck and cover.’
It comes as North Korea threatened to nuke Japan and reduce the US ‘to ashes and darkness’ in response to the latest sanctions imposed by the UN.
‘Japan can never tolerate this repeated provocative action by North Korea,’ Tokyo’s government spokesman told reporters, adding that the country will make an appropriate response.
North Korea is promising deaths and destruction to the US, and threatening South Korea and Japan. They do it in a most considered way, while testing weapons of mass destruction. Once this would have been considered tantamount to a declaration of war. Imagine if they had hundreds of hydrogen bombs loaded onto hundreds of ICBMs — presumably what will happen in another decade.
