Now, in the Twin Cities over the last year, we’ve had two notorious shootings, both by diversity hire cops. Philando Castile was shot by officer Jeronimo Yanez, who obviously wouldn’t have been thought of as white by the media if he had been shot by a white cop. And now a Somali cop, Mohamed Noor, shoots a blonde lady for startling him.
One reason we have too many killings by cops is because we have a lot of affirmative action in police hiring, such as Yanez and Noor getting Pokemon Points for not being white, which means those who do get hired are not necessarily the best available to hire.
A more general reason is that cops, like most people these days, are more cautious about their own safety than in the past.
