Now it turns out that the lawyer had links to US Democrats and a consulting company involved in an earlier attempt to smear Trump — a set up? Veselnitskaya appears to have been inside Sen. John McCain’s office in December 2015, according to a photo of a man and the Arizona Republican senator she uploaded to Facebook. …
Veselnitskaya appears to have attended an anti-Trump rally on January 21, according to pictures posted on her Facebook page. Protesters held signs saying “Impeach Trump” and portraying him as close to Russian President Vladimir Putin. …
Legal scholars from across the political spectrum agree that Trump Jr. did not do anything illegal, even if the meeting looked bad on Trump Jr.’s part.
It is incredible that US Republicans and conservatives have no memory of history. The real collusion with Russians was during the Clinton/Gore administration. The infamous Gore-Chernomyrdin agreement had 20 secret attachments, never presented to Congress. A lot of US technology and money were transferred to Russia. During the elections 2000 this issue with Russia was on the agenda even of leftist papers like the Washington Post.
