Lambie calls for Sharia Law supporters to be deported from Australia

Lambie calls for Sharia Law supporters to be deported from Australia, by Simone Fox Koob.

A slanging match between independent senator Jacqui Lambie and engineer and author Yasmin Abdel-Magied erupted on live television after the key crossbencher said the young social commentator was “playing the victim” when talking about possible immigration restrictions for Muslims.

“Anyone who supports Sharia law in this country should be deported,” declared Ms Lambie, who has previously said she would support a Muslim immigration ban in Australia and last week introduced a private senators’ bill which would ban the burqa in public places and commonwealth jurisdictions. …

Ms Lambie … believes there is “one law in this country and it is the Australian law… it is not Sharia Law, not in this country. Not in my day.”

Sharia law is a totalitarian political ideology, form seventh century Arabia. It is totalitarian because it dictates everything about your life: total control. This is why Islam is more in the category of Nazism and communism than it is in a category with Hinduism or Confucianism. There is no separation of church and state in Islam — Islam dominates totally.

Islam is the only “religion” where the penalty for leaving is death. As Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished … The majority of them …  agree that apostates must be executed.” Qaradawi also once famously said: “If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today.

Sharia is explained in the Koran, and is immutable because the Qur’an is the unchallengeable word of God, dictated to Mohamed by the archangel Gabriel and not open to later re-interpretation. Islamic societies that have tried to move away from fundamentalist Islam have always been dragged back to its roots by fundamentalists. That’s been happening for thirteen centuries now, and that doesn’t look like it’s going to change any time soon — and I don’t want foolish lefties betting my great grandchildren’s lives on it changing for the first time ever real soon now.

Sharia is not merely praying five times a day.
