While the Brierley Consultancy report says: “The UK Church membership has declined from 10.6m in 1930 to 5.5m in 2010, or as a percentage of the population; from about 30 per cent to 11.2 per cent. …

In England, membership is forecast to decline to 2.53m (4.3 per cent of the population) by 2025.”

Number of UK Muslims exceeds three million for first time, by Lexi Finigan. “In some parts of London almost half the population are now Muslims. … The number has doubled in just over a decade as a result of soaring immigration and high birth rates.”

How many years until there are more Muslims than Christians in the UK? Maybe five? Definitely well before 2025 on current trends. The Christians tend to be older and have fewer kids, so in demographic terms this trend is still in its infancy.

The PC crew are no doubt delighted. The character of the UK is changing. Guess we might find out what the PC position on Sharia law really is in the next decade or two.
