Mohammed Reza Haque, 36, is depicted in the video using a serrated hunting knife to cut off a prisoner’s head in the middle of a barren desert.The vile killer was likened to extremist Mohamed Emwazi – dubbed ‘Jihadi John’ – who beheaded five western hostages on video, after murdering his victim in an almost-identical fashion.

Haque was a bodyguard for British hate preacher Anjem Choudary before he was imprisoned in 2016 for inciting support for ISIS, and has been photographed countless times in radical Islamist demonstrations spanning a number of years.

And in 2011, he was filmed on Remembrance Sunday chanting “Burn British soldiers, burn in hell” during a two-minute silence before burning poppies near the Albert Hall.

Hague, from Bethnal Green, was charged with a public order offence for the disgraceful act – but was let off at Belmarsh Magistrates’ Court due to lack of evidence.

He had the nickname “Giant” before he fled to Syria in 2015, despite being under surveillance by MI5 and anti-terror police due to his links with Choudary.

The security forces often know who these people are, but they are let off in the West — and now this. Surely their actions should no longer be treated as a series of criminal acts by otherwise loyal British citizens, but more like piracy or war. They know they are at war with us, but or system treats them as criminals rather than enemy warriors or pirates.
