‘I’m middle right, not far-right & I don’t like extremes’ – Austria’s frontrunner Hofer. Norbert Hofer, the Austrian presidential candidate for the Freedom Party who is often described as “far-right” by opponents, has dismissed the idea in an interview with RT, saying that he is “a normal man, who does not like extremes.”
It is the way of the PC media and politicians to indicate their strong dislike. Of course, almost all western politicians of 40 years ago are “extreme right” by today’s standards. For example, even eight years ago leftist politicians now pushing the LGBT barrow were against gay marriage — such as Barack Obama, Bill Shorten or Penny Wong.
The label “extreme right” just means “not PC” or “not progressive”. Right wing politicians nowadays like Paul Ryan or Malcolm Turnbull go along with most of PC, so they are only “right.”
