An Oregon School District asked members of its staff to not use Santa Claus in their holiday decorations at school.
School officials told KATU that it’s a way to respect all religious beliefs.
Graser said the district wants to make sure all cultures and backgrounds are comfortable at school.
This is all one-way traffic, isn’t it? Are others “comfortable” with say hijabs and references to the “Allah” in “Allahu akbar”? Westerners are expected to adapt to the newcomers; assimilation is out of the question nowadays.
