he NYPD’s extensive security measures for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade include placing dozens of sand-filled trucks near the parade route to prevent a terror attack like the one in France last year.

A result of unwise or uncontrolled  immigration, perhaps? Our high trust society is no more. Compare that with Japan — almost no immigration, no Islamic terror, and so high-trust you can drop your wallet in the street and it will be returned with the cash still in it.
