Clinton’s supporters in their petition on change.org are not losing hope though – they are calling on the electors “to ignore their states’ votes and cast their ballots for [former] Secretary Clinton.”

What is it with the left? If their candidate doesn’t win, they want to change the rules.

They did this after the US Presidential election in 2000 too. It escalated up the court system all the way to the supremes, with Democrat-appointed judges voting for Gore’s appeal and Republicans against at each level. Shocking, split along party lines instead of on merit.

However the Democrats wanted to cheat, by only recounting three of Florida’s 45 or so counties — the  three most Democrat-leaning ones. Turns out, no matter what policy one uses for hanging chads, if all the counties were recounted then Bush won — though no one knew that at the time of the disputes, because it was only established months later.
