Malcolm Turnbull attacked Bill Shorten for making “scathing” remarks about president-elect Donald Trump, declaring Australia’s interests cannot be advanced by “personally denigrating” world leaders. By Rosie Lewis.

Mr Shorten says he does not regret calling Mr Trump’s views “barking mad” and will “call it as I see it” but Mr Turnbull said that, as alternative prime minister to Australia, he needed better self-control.

Bill Shorten plays out of the politically correct book all the time, tediously echoing the Soros-generated viewpoints. Will have to do better if he ever becomes leader.
