President-Elect Donald Trump Addresses Supporters After Clinton Concedes, by Ian Schwartz.
President-elect Donald J. Trump addresses supporters at the New York Hilton early Wednesday morning after a chaotic election night. Trump said his opponent Hillary Clinton called to concede, however she did not address her supporters. Briefly before Trump was declared the 45th president of the United States Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta spoke on behalf of the candidate and told supporters there is more work to be done.
“We owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to our country. Now it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division,” Trump told supporters.
A good “work together” speech. Presidential. We’re going to rebuild our infrastructure, putting “millions” to work.
