Donald Trump says it’s now up to the American people to ‘deliver justice’ to Hillary Clinton after she is cleared in FBI email probe, by Barney Henderson.
Donald Trump said last night he believed the FBI rank and file would not let Hillary Clinton get away with her “crimes” after she was cleared in the latest email probe.
The Republican nominee called on the American people to “deliver justice” to Mrs Clinton, claiming she was being protected by a “rigged” system. …
“Hillary Clinton is guilty. She knows it, the FBI knows it. The people know it. It is now up to the American people to deliver justice at the ballot box on November 8,” he said. “Unbelievable. What she gets away with folks. Unbelievable.” …
Newt Gingrich, the Republican former House of Representatives speaker and adviser to Mr Trump said last night: “The destruction of James Comey by political pressure is painful to watch. He is being twisted into an indefensible pretzel of contradictions.”
Mike Pence, the Republican vice-presidential candidate, rejected Mr Comey’s ruling, saying: “Mishandling classified information is a crime.”
In a feat of public service the FBI conclusively reviewed 650,000 emails in 9 days and clears Clinton, and say they repeat their July determination which found that she was “extremely careless” with “highly classified information” and will not be charged. The Clintons made $57 million while Hillary was Secretary of State. Over half the people who met with Clinton paid money to the Clinton Foundation as well which has received over $2 billion in donations in total. Despite this obvious possible conflict of interest, she used insecure private computers to email foreign leaders and companies that she arranged deals with on behalf of the USA, then destroyed 33,000 emails with Bleachbit after they were subpoenaed. The FBI is not confident there was intent to obstruct justice.
Intent is irrelevant to the crime of mishandling classified information, or at least it is for little people.
