New Poll Suggests A Third Of Australians Oppose Muslim Immigration,by Roy Morgan Research.
Clear majorities of Australians support Muslim immigration (58% cf. 33% oppose) and Asylum seeker immigration (66% cf. 25% oppose), although even larger majorities of Australians support both Family reunion immigration (74% cf. 21% oppose) and Skilled migrant immigration (77% cf. 18% oppose).
Roy Morgan found about the same result in 2010 and 2015, so presumably their methodology differs from Essential’s:
In September an Essential Research poll found 49 per cent of Australians support a ban on Muslim immigration, including 60 per cent of Coalition voters, 40 per cent of Labor voters and 34 per cent of Greens voters.
Few Australians know much about Islam as a totalitarian political ideology, which sentences leavers to death and states its intention to take over the world. Our elite and our media never criticize Islam, despite its support for seventh century Arabic culture such as murdering gays. So even 33% opposed to Muslim immigration is surprisingly high.
Of course there are many decent people brought up in Islam who find themselves trapped, and would like to leave. But given their immersion in Muslim superiority and ideology, it is hard to know from the outside which ones will fit into high-trust Australian culture.
