When do-gooders struggle to find something to do

When do-gooders struggle to find something to do, by Rowan Dean.

Rowena’s Agony Aunt Column, where even the most vexing problems are solved:

Dear Rowena,

I’m a highly paid Race Discrimination Commissioner in a multi-million dollar taxpayer-funded organisation that pays me hundreds of thousands of dollars more than I’d probably earn in the private sector. My worry is that in order to stay in my rather cushy job surely I have to keep finding examples of racism? But what if I can’t find any?!? I might end up on the scrap heap and actually have to go and find another job! Where can I find some examples of racism so that I can appear to look busy?

Yours, (name and address provided but far too long and complicated to fit into this space).

Great letter.
