People with Turkish roots living in Germany should show a “high level of loyalty” toward their adopted country, according to Chancellor Angela Merkel. It comes amid tense relations between Berlin and Ankara….
Meanwhile, a report on German television last week cited a leaked internal document in which Berlin reportedly accused Ankara of breeding radical Islam in the Middle East.“What makes the German-Turkish relationship special is that more than 3 million people of Turkish origin live in Germany,” [Merkel] said. Turkish people form the largest ethnic minority in Germany, representing the second-largest Turkish population in world, after Turkey.
Well there’s the problem right there — Merkel is in the grip of PC unreality. What will it take for her to wise up?
Do the Turks living in Germany consider themselves Muslims first or Germans first? Are you feeling lucky, Mrs Merkel?
