Media Launches a Full Frontal on Trump, Gun Owners

Media Launches a Full Frontal on Trump, Gun Owners, by AWR Hawkins.

Trump gave a speech in which he warned that “Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment.” He added, “By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But — but I’ll tell you what. That will be a horrible day. If Hillary gets to put her judges — right now, we’re tied.”

That seems pretty clear, especially in its context of the Democrat campaign against gun ownership and their stated desire to get around the current interpretation of the Second Amendment (that US citizens have the right to bear arms). The “we’re tied” refers to the current 4-4 split on the Supreme Court. But look what the Democrats and their media did with it:

Thanks Joanne!

Clinton’s campaign manager Robby Mook seized on the first two lines of Trump’s statement and alleged Trump was suggesting “violence.” The media followed suit almost immediately.

Salon ran a column titled, “Did Trump Just Threaten Hillary? ‘Second Amendment people’ ought to influence Clinton’s SCOTUS nominees.” The Guardian ran one titled, “Trump Hints At Assassination of Hillary Clinton by gun rights supporters” and Huffington Post ran one titled, “Elizabeth Warren Fires Back at ‘Pathetic Coward’ Donald Trump After Assassination Suggestion.”

Assassination? They totally made that up.

The media allegations were so extreme, they not only insulted Trump but gun owners as well.

Meanwhile the press ignored a possible assassination attempt on Trump a few months back, possibly inspired by the media climate of hate on Trump such as equating Trump to Hitler.

Rely on either the feminists or the Muslims to be most over the top:

The feminist activist group UltraViolet condemned Donald Trump’s comments on the Second Amendment on Tuesday, saying that he had threatened violence against Hillary Clinton, and that he had done so because she is a woman.

Though it has not made any recent statements about Bill Clinton’s alleged sexual assaults, UltraViolet Action has targeted conservatives almost exclusively…
