India: School bans national anthem, says it’s against tenets of Islam

India: School bans national anthem, says it’s against tenets of Islam. An Islamic school of 300 in Allahbad, India, refused to allow recital of the national anthem by students and staff members on India’s Independence Day, claiming that its words violated the tenets of Islam. Their allegiance is to Islam, not India. How long before that happens in the West too? Politics as usual cannot happen when society goes tribal, when we are not all part of the same society together.
