Germany: Muslim bomber carried powerful explosives, authorities say no evidence of “extremism”. On the Bavarian bombing, the German Police said “So far, the investigation has found no evidence of an attempted political assassination or extremism…”. Robert Spencer caustically replies:

As if a Muslim carrying out a jihad/martyrdom suicide bombing in a wine bar weren’t evidence enough of “extremism.” Have German authorities determined yet whether or not the invasion of Normandy was a sign of anti-Nazi sentiment?

This is some sort of war, not an episode of Rumpole at the Bailey. Different rules apply. Pretend legalistic blindness on the part of our elite is just making us easy targets. Wishful thinking does not magically make the Islamic danger go away.
