Gingrich calls for deportation of those who ‘believe in Sharia’, by Cheryl Chumley.

Newt Gingrich, former speaker of the House and talked-about pick for Donald Trump’s vice presidential slot, said on Fox News while discussing the Nice, France, terrorist attack that the United States ought to implement a testing system to root out Shariah-compliant Muslims and deport them.

On “Hannity,” Gingrich said the country “should frankly test every person here who is of a Muslim background, and if they believe in Sharia, they should be deported. Sharia is incompatible with Western civilization.”

He also called for authorities to monitor the mosques in order to identify radical elements. …

Gingrich put the blame for Thursday’s Nice attack, described as a act of terrorism by France President Francois Hollande – though it’s not clear yet which terror group is responsible for the attacks – at the feet of cowardly “elites,” he said.

“[It’s] the fault of Western elites who lack the guts to do what is right, to do what is necessary and to tell us the truth, and that starts with Barack Obama,” Gingrich said, the Associated Press reported.
