EU referendum poll latest: Leave surges to SIX POINT lead as Britain heads for Brexit, by Joey Millar.

The telephone study by Ipsos MORI … shows 53% of British people now want to leave the 28-country bloc, with just 47% saying they will vote remain.This marked a huge swing from last month’s poll by the same growp, which saw 60% of people choosing Remain and 40% backing Leave.

UPDATE: The betting markets are saying the UK will remain in Europe: 1.44 remain, 2.57 leave. Oddly at odds with the polls. It’s possible the betting markets are corrupted, with a flood of money to give the impression of remain inevitability (to discourage Leave voters) — perhaps it is a cost-effective way to spend PR money.
