A poster on Twitter who identifies as a Black Muslim man claims to have been the person seen on news video chasing and tackling a young white male Trump supporter following a Trump rally in San Jose Thursday. Using the Twitter handle “Houdini @sizzle_seyf”, the man posted the news video and retweeted congratulations on his chasing and tackling the Trump supporter.
See the video and more at the link above. Houdini’s tweets included
“Nigga trump be picking the wrong cities to go to fuckin clown smh #sanjose #fucktrump”
Houdini was also photographed at Thursday’s riot jumping on the roof of a car.
Commenter Dalen Fuller:
This is no protest it is a hateful bunch of thugs rioting – where are the police making it safe for Trump supporters to come to this event and leave safely? … I blame the city leadership for allowing these rioters to destroy property and beat up o innocent people – talk about HATE – this is HATE in full bloom
San Jose Mayor Justifies Mob Violence, by Ethan Epstein.
Thousands of Americans participated in that most benign of civic rituals in San Jose, California, on Thursday night: seeing a presidential candidate speak. Of course, that candidate was Donald Trump, so as these engaged citizens streamed out of the arena, they were subjected to astonishing levels of violence. An angry mob pelted eggs, tomatoes, and bottles at the spectators—as well as the police, who tried (and failed) to maintain some semblance of order. Other Trump supporters were set upon and punched. One was left with blood streaming down his face. (See representative video below.)
The mayor of San Jose, Democrat Sam Liccardo, reacted angrily to the events. Not that he was particularly upset at the violent mob that attacked innocent Americans, of course. No, his ire was directed at Mr. Trump. “At some point Donald Trump needs to take responsibility for the irresponsible behavior of his campaign,” the mayor said. Apparently it was downright “irresponsible” of Trump to even set foot in California’s third largest city.
The Washington Post characterized the mayor’s remarks as if they were just standard partisan hackery: It noted that the mayor is a “Hillary Clinton supporter.”
Most people will see through the nonsense of blaming Trump for the violence.
Blaming Trump for being “divisive”, when it is your side being outraged and violent, is nothing more than saying no one is allowed to disagree with you. The PC crew ought to be ashamed, but they say nothing. It is not yet clear whether it is politically motivated blindness or cynical malevolence and using violence to achieve political ends — but we will have a pretty good idea before this election is over.
