Our ABC is so diverse — ABC Radio staff told to put people with ‘difficult’ accents on air.
ABC radio staff have been instructed to tackle unconscious bias about who they put on air by throwing out “old ideas and assumptions about the average Aussie” and making sure their election broadcasts contain a “healthy mix of ethnicities and accents”.
Is this perhaps an unconscious instruction to heart less from white Anglo Australians? To make Australia appear like the “British town hall” in the previous post (above)? To add an ideological push to a pro-diverse-immigration, anti-white agenda perhaps? More of the “Muslims and non-white good, white men bad” bias we are used to from the ABC?
Regardless of that unconscious bias, aren’t the ABC nakedly pushing a pro-diversity agenda? Despite the ABC Charter which instructs them not to campaign on political issues? I want a refund.
When will the ABC ever explore the idea that diversity plus proximity leads to conflict? It’s all over the history books, and you only have to open your eyes to what is happening today. But the ABC pushes only the politically correct agenda that diversity is good. Who chose this agenda, and what are its aims? Who benefits? If diversity of skin color is so good, why does the ABC broadcast only a uniform, narrow, non-diverse range of opinion and fact?
