Passionate debate teaches judgment and gives confidence to insist some things are superior to others. So to modern students trembling like Victorian spinsters, I declare the old way was better. Either hide at home and do your degree by correspondence or shake off the shackles of political correctness and engage with the world. As the feminists say, it’s time to man up.
